Italics

Holding on

Italics

I have slept in strangers’ beds to omit you
Can’t believe I still haven’t moved on
Make me a drink, I can no longer feel a thing
You made me feel everything, once upon

Love, sins and heaven blended as you apprised
Me about the lust on our lips
But it was all conjunctive to our conversations
I lost my words with your eclipse

Can I stop expecting that you would
Write another act in my dreadful play
About time I sniggered at the stupid idea of
You and me smiling in a chalet
