There's only one way to measure the infinite.
Infinity
Infinity isn’t inexplicable, the young boy affirmed
He sought it in his infatuations
To the
action figures he played with
To the
girls he shyly chased
He sought it in the satisfaction he garnered
From
the degrees he laminated on his wall
From
the green paper he received at each month end
He sought it in the pleasure he pursued
Of hot
kisses on cold hearts
Of
herbal highs and synthetic smiles
He sought it in the fulfillment he experienced
In the
arms of his soulmate
In the inhaled
vitality of meditation
But it all felt short
Of the
only infinity there ever was or will be
Of the altruistic
love of his mother
